CONTINUOUS IMRPOVEMENT LEAD – FINANCE

Continuous Improvement Lead is part of the Finance Process and Technology Analyst Team and is accountable for driving an active learning community with the aim of developing team capabilities and improving the Continuous Improvement model through hands on delivery experience. Is also responsible for building continuous improvement capability by catalyzing initiatives in priority projects and target areas and coaching Team Leaders and teams to develop their knowledge and capability to use Continuous Improvement in their own areas.

Here is how this role will help:

  • Act as an expert in Continuous Improvement (CI) area, capable of delivering the approach and developing others in its use
  • Act as a catalyst with priority initiatives, working with different and cross-functional project teams to shape, implement and embed CI interventions ensuring delivery at pace, to target
  • Create, educate and own the framework that governs and manages all continuous improvement such that it can be recorded, measured and tracked by Finance leadership
  • Act as a CI coach to senior Finance leadership and teams. Provide one to one coaching and authority for coaches in CI and develop their skills. Also coach others in the organisation to use it, ensuring a relevant and balanced representation of both technical and change management mindset
  • Manage Capability Build and Training needs for CI Community

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Around 8-10 years of experience in Finance process and lean methodology management
  • Expert of continuous improvement techniques and methodologies and experience of application in real situations
  • Fluent in English
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Lean, six sigma methodology knowledge and experience
  • Delivery of continuous improvement or similar project activities within a large organization, combined with the ability to prioritize, plan, organize, and monitor multiple concurrent activities to meet timelines
  • Communicating effectively and engaging/influencing widely to support a cultural change through which we will embrace, own and use Continuous Improvement
  • Change and/or operational management experience
    Strong capability to develop, coach & teach others in delivering change.
