At Rolls-Royce Hungary around 100 engineers work on the development of electrical technology for power and propulsion solutions of tomorrow. The highly skilled team competences range from the design and industrialization of electrical machines, inverters and energy storage via the development of system and subsystem control technology to system analysis, integration and tests in our modern labs, but also in real flight environment.

What will your daily work look like
People management of 15-20 heads including target settings, performance management, people development, administration and recruiting
Skill matrix updated and aligned with business needs
Resource management planning, maintaining and prioritization based on project needs
Define and manage design processes in group aligned with global design processes
Support project planning (resource, timeframe)
Technical risks mitigation/elimination coming from CLs/LEs
Participate and support project technical review
Ensure compliance in group with health and safety
Ensure compliance in group with quality, local and global rules®ulations
Report to Head of Engineering&Technology-HU
What do you need to succeed?
3+ years of experience in engineering development field in managerial position
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics or equivalent
Good understanding of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals (heat transfer, fluids, statics, dynamics, structural design)
Good communication skills, both in presentations and in writing in English.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and challenging environment.
Experienced in managing diverse, technical teams and stakeholders in a multinational organization.
Resilient and flexible person who manages well changes
